During the photo workshop in Bolivia this spring Johnny Wichmann, one of the participants, captured daily life in its beauty and easiness as it goes about. He captured moments of playfulness, of relationship, of seriousness, of interactions – all those small instants that make up people’s life. His work has a very distinct colour palette and a very honest way of showing how naturally he relates to his subject. For him the decisive moment is clearly an underlying driving force, although not focusing on the big moments, but the more subtle and more unobtrusive split seconds of human conduct.
If you want to see more of Johnny’s pictures from Bolivia, you can look up the book Bolivia 2013 which showcases the work of all the participants. All the images are available on preview, but it’s also possible to buy the book.
